We screen our tenants very
thoroughly prior to accepting them as tenants. Our checklist
includes a tenant credit check, criminal check as well as
employment and landlord references. This will ensure minimal tenant
issues.
Our Property Management Specialists ensure all prospective tenants
fill out a written rental application that includes employment,
income & credit history, identity document forms (i.e.
passport, license etc), past evictions, bankruptcies and
references.
Before choosing tenants, we will check with previous landlords and
other references, verify income, employment, bank account
information and obtain a credit report. The credit report is
especially important as it will indicate whether a potential tenant
has a history of paying rent or bills late, has gone through
bankruptcy or has ever been evicted. We will use all of this
information to compile a tenant report which we will use to ensure
we provide you with the tools to choose the right tenant for your
investment property.
